I bring a wealth of experience, not only as a counsellor, but also in pastoral care and training. I have worked with church leaders throughout my life, and have a good understanding of the experiences of ministry leaders and their families. I am passionate about peer-reviewed research and have a keen interest in work with neurodivergent clients, particularly in Christian communities.
-
I am very collaborative with my supervisees, and bring a wealth of resources across a number of therapeutic models. My foundational practice is psychodynamic therapy, but I also use ACT, CBT, Art Therapy, Neurodivergent models, Attachment Theory, and many other modalities. I am consistently across new research and therapeutic approaches.
I also value an approach which challenges our beliefs and barriers as counsellors, ensuring that we can bring good practice to our clients.
